Reading Group Annotations*
Annotations* is a reading group focusing on the work of cultural critic
Mark Fisher. The first five sessions will focus on Capitalist Realism
and the questions it raises about contemporary culture and society.

Alternating between reading, responding, and listening, we aim to
develop a collaborative approach to his ideas and concerns about the
perceived stagnation of contemporary culture. This reading group is a
collective annotation of his writing. Together, we want to create a
collage from fragments of our experiences. Part of this series will be a
listening event and screening session focusing on the audiovisual and
sonic works discussed in Fisher’s writing.
The main language is English. The book will be provided by us. Drinks
and snacks are included in the contribution fee, which is based on a
sliding scale. If you would like to join but currently do not have the

The contribution fee is 5-10 Euro based on a sliding scale.
