House of Bakai Kitchen Night

Bakai’s home is now open 🧿 to all who want to experience Kyrgyz hospitality, discover fusion-style Central Asian recipes, and enjoy a cozy shared dinner.

Join our Kitchen Night series, an intimate evening where we cook together, learn the stories behind the dishes, and share a meal over Tashkent tea, Berlin drinks, and melodic music curated in a Slaystans way.

Each Kitchen Night will feature different guests from Central Asia and beyond, sharing their favorite recipes and personal food stories.

Our first edition will be hosted by Bakai with the help of friends. Together, we’ll cook traditional Kyrgyz ceremonial breads Borsoks, a Korean–Central Asian carrot salad, and Ganfan, a beloved Uyghur and Central Asian dish, closely related to Lagman.

Drinks include Tashkent tea, along with beer and wine.
To keep the atmosphere warm and personal, the event is limited to 15 guests.
