DESCRIPTION:studio nagelneu presents \nReading Group Annotations*\nAnnotations* is a reading group focusing on the work of cultural critic\nMark Fisher. The first five sessions will focus on Capitalist Realism\nand the questions it raises about contemporary culture and society.\nsundays 17:30 – 20:00\nJune 28th | July 5th | July 26th | August 2nd\nstudio nagelneu | Hermannstraße 102\, 12051 Berlin\n \nAlternating between reading\, responding\, and listening\, we aim to\ndevelop a collaborative approach to his ideas and concerns about the\nperceived stagnation of contemporary culture. This reading group is a\ncollective annotation of his writing. Together\, we want to create a\ncollage from fragments of our experiences. Part of this series will be a\nlistening event and screening session focusing on the audiovisual and\nsonic works discussed in Fisher’s writing.\n\nThe main language is English. The book will be provided by us. Drinks\nand snacks are included in the contribution fee\, which is based on a\nsliding scale.
