DESCRIPTION:studio nagelneu presents \nGelli Plate Printing – Collage & Painting Masterclass\nSocial Art Lab Berlin invites you to a masterclass with Agnieszka Karaś \nFriday 26th April 19:30\nstudio nagelneu | Hermannstr. 103\, 12051 Berlin \nWHO IS THE COURSE FOR: the course is addressed to literally everyone: for those who doubt their artistic abilities (gelli plate will heal it after the first print!) and for those who have high artistic confidence\, working mainly in the field of paper art\, mix media and analog collage and want to expand their knowledge with another new technique. Here imperfections are perfection\, because gelli plate print can surprise and sometimes\, despite the intended effect\, we get something “failed”\, but even more interesting and beautiful than we planned. \nOBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE: making a two-layer print and decorating it with the use of self-made stencils and stamps as well as items that are “at your fingertips” in the city and in nature \nSOURCES OF INSPIRATION: We will open our sensitivity to the beauty of everyday unnoticed textures and forms of everyday objects and what is around us \nTHE COURSE:\n1) Introduction\n-what exactly is a gelli plate – how to deal with it and what exactly is the secret of a successful print; correct application of paint using brayer\n-examples of using gelli prints in art paper\n-two words about color theory or how not to make a swamp on your own gelli plate\n– creating one-layer prints\n– creating two-layer prints\n2) Texture and forms\ncreating prints using: hand-cut stencils\, handmade stamps\, everyday items\n3) Image transfer\n– image transfer of a selected photo from a colorful magazine and decorating it with selected textures and forms \nThe artist: @zakola_umyslu \nPrice: 25€ (all materials included) \nregistration: izanowak.design@gmail.com
